This is a long climb through forest, easy track walking in parts but heavy moorland walking for the last mile. The view is well worth the walk. For years these paths have been obscured by forest planting but recent work by East Cumbria countryside Project has cleared and waymarked these paths.
Start:Cuddys Hall picnic site on the B6318, 4 miles north
